The leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) called for de-escalation towards Iran, while emphasizing that Israel has the right to defend itself.

Regarding Iran, they emphasized, "We have consistently made clear that Iran must never develop nuclear weapons," and "We urge that resolving the Iran crisis leads to a broad de-escalation of hostilities in the Middle East, including a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip."
