The leaders of the Group of 7 (G7) urged Iran to de-escalate tensions while emphasizing Israel's right to self-defense.
According to News1 and others on the 16th (local time), through the joint statement released at the G7 summit held in Canada, the leaders declared, "We affirm Israel's right to defend itself" and added, "We once again express our support for Israel's security."
