The leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) urged Iran to ease tensions, while emphasizing Israel's right to defend itself.

According to News1 and others on the 16th (local time), through a joint statement from the G7 summit held in Canada, the leaders declared, "We reaffirm that Israel has the right to defend itself," and added, "We once again express our support for Israel's security."
