BloomingBit Community Introduction and Operation Policy

BloomingBit community (including news) is a space where users can freely share opinions and information.

This freedom is guaranteed when users respect the rights of others and aim for healthy discussions based on facts.

Spreading false information, personal attacks, discriminatory remarks, spam, and the like are strictly prohibited, and the operations team aims to prevent these and maintain a safe environment.

1. Membership Policy and Community Use

1.1 Registration

- Registration is available via social login and World ID.

- Social login is available with Kakao, Apple, and Google.

1.2 Changes to Member Information

- User IDs can be changed once every 30 days. User IDs that duplicate other users cannot be used.

- User IDs that are obscene or impersonate a specific company/brand may be modified at the request of the operations team.

- The country setting can be selected at initial registration and can be changed only once thereafter.

1.3 Community Introduction

- Once registration is complete, users can interact through news comments, replies, or community posts, comments, replies, etc.

- Types of interaction within the community include creating posts, writing comments, writing replies, likes, quoting posts, etc., and users may freely engage in all activities that do not violate [2. Community Sanctions].

1.4 Comment and Reply Policy

- Comments and replies are an important means of communication directly connected to BloomingBit news articles.

- Dissemination of false information, profanity, discriminatory expressions, spamming activities, etc. may be sanctioned, and healthy debate and mutual respect are the principles.

2. Community Sanctions

BloomingBit respects freedom of expression, but the following acts are prohibited to maintain a healthy discussion culture.

2.1 Profanity and Personal Attacks

Using violent or threatening language toward individuals or groups, insulting or treating them as enemies in a way that harms others, is not permitted.

- Defamation of users' transaction activities within the service and shifting responsibility

- Repeatedly defaming a particular subject excessively

- Content that belittles human life, contains strong violence, or praises or encourages crimes or delinquent acts

- Using severe profanity, vulgar language, or slang that causes discomfort to the user experience

- Content such as information, sentences, or images that deny, mock, or violate proper public morals, ethics, or social order

2.2 Obscenity and Sexual Content

Providing obscene and sexual material or implying such content is prohibited.

- Acts that induce sexual shame and disgust through obscene and pornographic content

- Promoting or distributing vulgar and obscene materials, or linking to sites containing such materials

2.3 Defamation and Copyright

Acts that infringe on others' intellectual property, privacy, and other rights are prohibited.

- Registering, posting, or distributing commercial programs not authorized by BloomingBit, or providing guidance for their distribution

- Distributing or selling illegal copies of software, games, recordings, or videos

- Defaming a specific person or organization or unjustly invading privacy

- Impersonating BloomingBit, affiliated companies, staff, or influencers active within the service, and stealing influencer content

- Denigrating or discriminating against gender, race, gender identity, religion, age, disability, specific regions, etc.

2.4 Profit-making and Promotional Activities

Commercial and promotional activities intended for profit that are not authorized by BloomingBit are not allowed.

- Direct or indirect advertising and other promotional activities for other services, sites, or communities

2.5 Personal Information Protection

Disclosure of personal or sensitive information without consent is prohibited.

- Inducing the provision or exposure of personal information or directly exposing personal information (e.g., search terms, KakaoTalk ID, SNS information, email, phone number, etc.)

- Prohibits unauthorized disclosure of a person's body, whether in whole or in part, from personal emails or chat room conversation content.

- Posting or sharing another person's private photos or videos produced or distributed without consent

2.6 Platform Manipulation and Spam

Manipulating or disrupting the user experience is prohibited.

- Posts or comments written for the purpose of spam or flooding

- Spreading viruses or exploiting bugs or the system

2.7 Fraud and Dissemination of False Information

Inflating information or causing confusion to others through false information is not permitted.

- Acts intended to incite users by spreading false information

- Acts carried out for the purpose of fraud or other criminal activity

- Account trading, cash transactions, or acts that imply such meanings

2.8 Recognition of Diversity and Prohibition of Discrimination

We respect diversity and aim for a healthy communication environment free of discrimination or hate speech. Therefore, the following acts are not permitted.

- Acts that provoke conflict or promote confrontation on sensitive issues such as politics, religion, or ideology

- Discriminatory or prejudiced remarks about individuals or groups based on gender, age, region, country of origin, race, sexual orientation, disability, occupation, religion, etc.

- Acts that belittle a specific group or promote hatred

- Derogatory remarks about socially disadvantaged or minority groups

2.9 Compliance with Basic Ethics and Laws

All users must comply with basic social ethics and laws. The following acts are strictly prohibited.

- Posting content harmful to minors or content that violates laws and regulations

- Violent, sexual, or hateful expressions and acts that encourage crime

- Production or distribution of content prohibited by law, such as drugs, pornography, or illegal recordings

- Violations of intellectual property rights such as illegal copying, copyright infringement, or trademark infringement

- Any act that violates current laws or infringes on the rights of others

3. Sanction Criteria and Types

BloomingBit may impose the following sanctions and measures based on the severity, intent, and repetitiveness of violations listed in the Community Sanctions.

[Stage 1] Deletion of posts, comments, and replies. Content that violates operating principles may be modified or deleted.

[Stage 2] Activity restriction

Users who violate operating principles may be restricted from activities (creating posts, comments, replies) for 3 to 7 days.

[Stage 3] Account withdrawal

In the event of a serious violation, account withdrawal may occur.

4. Notes on Community Usage Sanctions

BloomingBit may impose sanctions if activities are found to violate relevant laws, the terms, or this policy, even without user reports.

Disputes arising within the community service are, in principle, the responsibility of the parties involved, and BloomingBit's principle is not to intervene or take action regarding damages that occur. However, BloomingBit may intervene in cases of excessive disputes.

Sanctioned users may file an appeal, which can be submitted to BloomingBit's official channel : help@bloomingbit.io.

If the operations team reviews and determines the appeal to be valid, the sanction may be lifted.
