Consensus brings together blockchain developers, investors and policy officials from around the world. This year's event will be held in Miami from May 5 to May 7.

Upbit's GIWA team will run a dedicated booth during the conference to introduce its Web3 infrastructure ecosystem to global developers and industry participants. The company plans to showcase Web3 services designed to improve user accessibility and security through integration with Upbit as it steps up its global market push.

GIWA will unveil key technologies at the event, including the testnet of its high-performance layer-2 network GIWA Chain, GIWA Wallet, on-chain verification system Dojang, privacy technology Bojagi and Web3 naming service UP.ID.

The company will also debut GASOK, a developer support program aimed at expanding the GIWA ecosystem. The program selects dApp projects built on GIWA and provides technical consulting and development support.

GIWA has also signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Ethereum layer-2 project Optimism to pursue technical cooperation, including sequencer operations and backup infrastructure development. The two sides will also discuss expanding the ecosystem by sharing global partner networks and engineering resources.

"Consensus 2026 will serve as an opportunity to broaden our reach with developers worldwide and build a Web3 ecosystem that anyone can use easily," Upbit Chief Operating Officer Jung Min-seok said.

Upbit also plans to expand its overseas network during the event through participation in CoinDesk Live and meetings with global institutional partners.
