Aptos Plans Encrypted Mempool to Strengthen Front-Running, Censorship Protections
Forecast Trend Report by Period

Layer-1 blockchain Aptos is preparing to introduce a new feature aimed at protecting transaction details.
Aptos wrote on its official X account on May 12 that it plans to roll out an encrypted mempool, which would keep user transaction data from being exposed during processing. The feature is designed to reduce front-running, censorship and leaks of order information.
Under the system, transaction contents would remain hidden while they are being included in a block and would be revealed only when they are actually processed. Finalized transactions would still be recorded on the blockchain as usual.
Aptos said the feature is unlikely to have a significant effect on network speed or system stability because the blockchain processes multiple transactions in batches.
