An Ethereum wallet that participated in the network's initial coin offering has moved for the first time in more than a decade.
On May 13, blockchain tracker Lookonchain reported that Ethereum ICO address 0xeD41 transferred its entire 790.17 ETH balance to a new wallet after about 10.8 years of inactivity.
The investor is known to have spent about $245 in the Ethereum ICO to receive 790.17 ETH. The holdings are now worth about $1.79 million, representing a return of roughly 7,303 times.
The transfer has drawn market attention because the wallet had remained dormant for years, fueling speculation over whether the tokens may be sold.
