Dunamu, the operator of crypto exchange Upbit, said Monday that it will hold the Upclass Junior Quiz Competition.

Upclass Junior is a youth education project under Dunamu’s financial education program, Upclass. It provides content on basic economics and finance, as well as digital technologies including artificial intelligence, blockchain and non-fungible tokens, or NFTs.

The quiz competition is open to students from 62 schools nationwide that participated in the first semester of Upclass Junior. It began on May 18 and will run for about seven weeks through July 3.

After the event ends, Dunamu will select outstanding schools based on factors including the number of participants and average scores. Selected schools will receive an Upbit snack truck visit and an opportunity to make a community donation in the school’s name.

The awards are split into four categories, including the Passion Class Award for the school with the most participants, the Brain Class Award for the school with the highest average score, and the Neighborhood Class Award for schools with strong participation rates in the Seoul metropolitan area and non-metropolitan regions.

Each of the four selected schools will also receive a community donation program worth $2,180. Students will decide where the donations go.

In addition, 500 participating students will be chosen by lottery to receive convenience store coupons worth about $3.64 each.

Students who want to take part can sign up on the event page of the official Upclass website and select their school. Students from other schools can also participate, though they will be excluded from some event benefits.

Chief Executive Officer Oh Kyung-seok said Dunamu will continue to expand interactive content to help teenagers understand digital finance more easily. Through Upclass, the company will also work to broaden access to digital finance education and support future generations.
