Naver Pay Wallet on Chiliz Tops 1 Million Users

Naver Pay Wallet, which uses the Chiliz chain as its mainnet, has surpassed 1 million users.

Chiliz said on June 19 that the number of Naver Pay Wallet users rose more than fivefold over the past year, from about 200,000 in June 2025. The Chiliz chain serves as the wallet’s mainnet, supporting blockchain-based services and digital-asset functions.

Naver Pay is also running a World Cup NFT event linked to game-streaming platform CHZZK as its user base grows. Users can log in to Naver Pay Wallet and take part in quests such as watching live World Cup matches or backing streamers.

Users who complete the quests will receive one of 12 World Cup NFTs issued on the Chiliz chain. Chiliz described the event as a Web3 use case that combines blockchain technology with the sports content experience.

Chiliz is also expanding its fan-token business for national soccer teams. It recently signed a partnership with the Royal Spanish Football Federation and is preparing to launch a fan token for Spain’s national team.

That would bring Chiliz’s lineup to seven national-team fan tokens, adding Spain to Argentina, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Scotland and South Africa. Details on the launch timeline and participation for the Spain national team fan token will be announced later in line with the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation, or MiCA.

Alexandre Dreyfus, Chiliz’s chief executive officer, called the milestone of more than 1 million Naver Pay Wallet users and holders meaningful. He added that the company will continue rolling out new Web3 experiences through projects that combine sports and blockchain.
