Israeli forces are continuing airstrikes and surveillance operations in southern Lebanon, local media reported.

Iran's Mehr News Agency, citing Lebanon's Al Mayadeen, reported on June 18 that Israeli forces recently carried out a drone strike on Kafr Benit in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon.

Local outlets also reported that Israeli forces attempted to advance toward the entrance of the Ali Taher area in the south. Drones were also seen flying over Beirut's southern suburbs.

Reports said Kafr Benit, Beit Yahoun, and the area between Hadada and Haris were also targeted in drone attacks. In some areas, airstrikes continued alongside surveillance activity.

Local media also reported that an Israeli military helicopter dropped sonic bombs toward residents of Beit Yahoun, injuring several people.

Al Mayadeen said the military activity has continued even after the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel. The Israeli military has not issued an official response to the reports.
