Pakistan Says US-Iran Technical Talks to Resume Next Week
Forecast Trend Report by Period

The US and Iran will resume technical talks next week as part of follow-up negotiations under their ceasefire memorandum of understanding.
BlockBeats and other outlets reported on June 24 that the Pakistani government announced the talks would restart next week.
The two countries recently held their first round of follow-up talks in Switzerland after signing the ceasefire MOU. They agreed to ease some economic sanctions, including by allowing exports of Iranian crude, in exchange for permitting inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran, however, maintains it never agreed in follow-up talks with Washington to inspections of its nuclear facilities. President Donald Trump said on June 23 that Iran's claim was wrong and that he would cancel future talks if that were true. Asked when an IAEA inspection team would enter Iran, Trump said, "Nothing has been set, but they will set foot on that land at the appropriate time."
