FT: Kalshi Discusses Fundraising at $40 Billion Valuation

Prediction-market platform Kalshi is discussing a new fundraising round at a $40 billion valuation, the Financial Times reported.

The newspaper reported on June 24 that Kalshi is in talks over ways to raise money at that valuation.

Kalshi operates a prediction market that allows users to bet on the outcomes of events across politics, the economy and sports.

Its valuation has climbed sharply as the prediction-market industry has expanded rapidly.
