Global cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has completed dividend payments to investors holding its tokenized stock products.

BlockBeats reported on July 1 that Bitget paid dividends that day on 20 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds, including rNVDA, rGOOGL and rMETA. The dividends were paid in Tether's USDT stablecoin.

rNVDA and the other products are tokenized stocks listed on Bitget under its rToken lineup. Their value is set on a one-to-one basis with the underlying assets. The reserve assets are held by a licensed custodian.

Stock dividends are also distributed in token form on a one-to-one basis. Corporate actions such as stock splits and reverse splits are synchronized with the tokens.

Bitget introduced weekend trading for rTokens last month. The feature currently supports 20 names, including Apple, Tesla and Nvidia.
