Revolut to Delist Tether, End USDT Support on Aug. 31

Revolut, Europe’s largest fintech company, will fully end trading support for Tether’s USDT, the world’s largest stablecoin by market value.
Wu Blockchain reported on July 3 that Revolut recently notified users via app push alerts and email that it would delist USDT from its list of supported crypto assets.
Under the company’s timeline, users can buy USDT only through July 6. New USDT deposits will be fully blocked starting July 30.
Selling existing holdings and withdrawing USDT to external crypto wallets will remain available only through Aug. 31.
Revolut said any USDT left in user accounts after support ends on Aug. 31 will be automatically converted into fiat currency at the market exchange rate at that time. The company described the delisting in its notice as a step to provide a “safe, transparent and responsible trading environment.”
