Trump Says Bitcoin Could Be Included in ‘Trump Accounts’
Forecast Trend Report by Period

President Donald Trump said Bitcoin could potentially be included in so-called Trump Accounts.
BlockBeats, citing Reuters, reported on July 6 that Trump answered “possibly” when asked whether Bitcoin could be part of the accounts.
Trump Accounts are investment-style accounts for US children. Reuters described them as newborn investment accounts included in Trump’s tax and immigration legislation, structured to provide a $1,000 federal contribution for children born from 2025 through 2028.
Trump had previously said $1,000 had been deposited into accounts for more than 500,000 American children. He added that he and Congress are also considering a similar type of account for adults.
Bitcoin’s inclusion has not been decided. But after Trump declined to rule it out, market attention is likely to focus on whether digital assets could eventually be added to the accounts’ investment options.
With the Trump administration maintaining a crypto-friendly policy stance, the inclusion of Bitcoin in a government-led investment account would also carry greater symbolic weight as a mainstream investment asset.
