Kalshi, a US prediction-market platform, has launched Midterms Hub, a platform that brings together election forecast data ahead of the November US midterm elections.
CoinDesk reported on July 22 that Kalshi was rolling out Midterms Hub that day. The service offers real-time forecast probabilities for state and federal races and is designed to let users quickly check the chances of victory for specific candidates and political parties.
Forecasts are displayed on a US map using the latest odds for each election event. That allows users to view the electoral landscape by region at a glance.
Midterms Hub also includes polling averages, candidate fundraising data from the Federal Election Commission and news from major media outlets. The feature is meant to help users compare prediction-market probabilities with actual polling results.
Kalshi said Midterms Hub shows in real time where users are placing bets at any given moment. The company described it as a one-stop platform for tracking state and federal races in one place.
Kalshi has been expanding its political prediction-market business ahead of the November midterm elections. In May, it launched the American Power Index, which tracks shifts in political influence, and described it as the political world’s S&P 500.
The company has also been seeking fresh investment since June at a valuation of about $40 billion, the report said.
