Coinbase will support payment capabilities for AI agents for its business clients.
CoinDesk reported on July 23 that Coinbase Business users will be able to receive payments from AI agents through x402, a protocol developed by Coinbase. Using Coinbase Payments, AI agents can make payments in USDC without any additional setup.
