  • Bitcoin held near $65,000 and showed resilience despite a plunge in US artificial intelligence (AI)-related stocks.
  • The AI stock selloff did not spread meaningfully to the crypto market, and Bitcoin's limited price swings may suggest its correlation with high-growth technology stocks has weakened somewhat.
  • Market analysts say Bitcoin is being driven more by crypto-market fund flows, institutional demand and the outlook for macro liquidity, while investors watch whether it can maintain an independent price trend near $65,000.

Bitcoin held relatively steady near $65,000 even as artificial intelligence-related stocks in the US market slumped.

Odaily, a digital-asset news outlet, reported on July 24 that Bitcoin was showing resilience by staying near the $65,000 mark despite heavy selling in US AI stocks.

The so-called Magnificent Seven of large US technology stocks posted their worst one-day performance since April, weighing on sentiment across the broader tech sector.

Still, the latest drop in AI shares does not appear to have spread meaningfully to the crypto market. Bitcoin's price showed only limited swings, suggesting its correlation with high-growth technology stocks may have weakened somewhat.

Market analysts say Bitcoin is now being driven more by crypto-market fund flows, institutional demand and the outlook for macro liquidity than by moves in technology shares.

As volatility rises across traditional risk assets, investors are watching whether Bitcoin can continue to trade independently near $65,000.
