Coinbase Chief People Officer Lawrence Brock will step down on Aug. 17, crypto media outlet BeInCrypto reported on July 24.
Brock will remain at Coinbase in an advisory role through Nov. 30. The company did not disclose the reason for his departure.
He is known for leading Coinbase's workforce restructuring, including a hiring freeze and rescinded job offers in 2022, as well as a companywide layoff of about 14% announced in May this year.
