FTX Starts Fifth Creditor Payout Round, Plans to Distribute $900 Million

Bankrupt digital-asset exchange FTX has started its fifth round of creditor repayments.

The Block wrote in a post on X on July 31 that FTX began the fifth payout round that day and plans to distribute about $900 million to eligible creditors.

Once the fifth round is complete, total distributions by the FTX bankruptcy estate will reach about $10 billion. FTX has been repaying creditors in stages since filing for bankruptcy protection in November 2022.
