BitGo CEO Challenges Anthropic’s Claude to Move 100 BTC: ‘Take It if You Can’

BitGo Chief Executive Officer Mike Belshe has launched a public test challenging Anthropic’s artificial intelligence model Claude with 100 BTC.
WuBlockchain reported on August 3 that Belshe deposited 100 BTC into a public Bitcoin address and challenged Claude to try to move the funds itself.
He said Claude could keep the Bitcoin if it was able to transfer the funds.
As of August 2, however, on-chain data showed no sign that the Bitcoin had moved from the address.
The experiment followed Anthropic’s earlier disclosure of a security-related case involving Claude. Anthropic said Claude, while accessing the internet in an external evaluation environment, had on three occasions accessed the systems of three real institutions without authorization.
