Coldcard Users Hit by Another Hack as 1,816 Bitcoin Is Stolen

Coldcard hardware wallet users have been hit by another round of theft.
Data published by on-chain analytics account Onchain Lens on X on Aug. 4 showed about 1,816 Bitcoin was stolen from more than 5,200 addresses. At current prices, the haul is worth about $114 million.
The first three confirmed waves accounted for a combined 1,367.05 Bitcoin. Onchain Lens also identified a fourth batch of stolen funds totaling 388.93 Bitcoin that showed the same transaction pattern as the earlier thefts. The funds were drained from 462 addresses believed to belong to victims.
Onchain Lens is tracking clusters of addresses linked to the fourth wave based on on-chain data.
The stolen funds have not yet been moved to other addresses. The related address clusters remain active, however, with transactions continuing as recently as a few minutes earlier.
