Lummis Says Talks With Democrats on CLARITY Act Continue as She Pushes for Regulatory Clarity

US Senator Cynthia Lummis said in a post on X on August 5 that she is continuing talks with Democrats to secure passage of the CLARITY Act.

Lummis wrote that she also discussed the bill’s Commodity Futures Trading Commission provisions the night before. President Donald Trump has been more active than any previous president in protecting ethical standards related to digital assets, she added.

She stressed that Congress should pass the CLARITY Act to create a clear regulatory framework and help keep the digital-asset industry in the US.
