Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott said the CLARITY Act could come up for a vote before the Senate's August recess.

In an interview with Fox Business on Aug. 6, Scott said there was "no doubt" a vote would take place this week. He said he planned to remain in the Senate for at least the next two days, adding that Republicans were united and would also secure Democratic support.
