Odaily and other outlets reported on Aug. 7 that Chainlink recently bought about 139,956 LINK tokens and transferred them to a reserve wallet. The buyback is estimated to have cost about $1.13 million.
The tokens were acquired through decentralized trading protocol CoW Swap. Chainlink then consolidated the holdings into a single wallet and added them to its reserves.
Chainlink's reserve wallet currently holds 5.35 million tokens, with an estimated value of about $43.9 million. The average purchase price is $11.19 per token.
