Microsoft Threat Intelligence has identified compromised websites using blockchain networks to deliver malware commands, Wu Blockchain reported on August 7.
Hackers used a technique known as "EtherHiding." It retrieves malicious commands hidden in smart contracts through BNB Smart Chain's RPC gateway.
The attackers display fake CAPTCHA verification prompts to trick users into executing malicious commands themselves.
