Trump Media & Technology Group posted a $360 million loss on cryptocurrency investments in the first half of 2026, while its Bitcoin holdings also declined.

CoinDesk reported on August 10 that Trump Media said in a quarterly filing submitted that day that it held 9,477.16 Bitcoin as of June 30. The holdings were valued at $557.1 million on a fair-value basis. That compared with 9,542.16 Bitcoin at the end of the first quarter, a decline of 65 Bitcoin in the second quarter.

The company’s Cronos holdings were unchanged at about 756.1 million tokens. Their fair value, however, fell to $40.6 million from $68 million at the end of 2025.

A substantial portion of Trump Media’s Bitcoin holdings remains pledged as collateral. As of June 30, 4,260.73 Bitcoin had been posted as collateral for convertible notes, while 2,077.34 Bitcoin backed a Bitcoin options strategy.

The earnings disclosure came shortly after Trump Media pulled back part of its crypto business. On August 8, Trump Media, crypto exchange Crypto.com and Yorkville Acquisition mutually agreed to withdraw a business-combination plan to create a public company pursuing a large-scale Cronos treasury strategy. The companies cited "current market conditions and changes in business and stakeholder priorities." A separate partnership under which Crypto.com was to provide services for Yorkville America’s exchange-traded fund was also terminated.
