Pump.fun Co-Founder Says Scaling Back Community Outreach After Fundraising Was a Mistake
Forecast Trend Report by Period

Pump.fun co-founder Noah Tweedale said the memecoin issuance protocol made a mistake by cutting back communication with its community after raising funds.
Wu Blockchain reported on August 14 that Tweedale made the remarks in an interview with Crypto Insider.
He said weak communication with the community during the token's price decline created a vicious cycle that amplified investor anxiety.
"When a token's price keeps falling, the market can easily start questioning whether the project's revenue is real," Tweedale said. "Those doubts then add further downward pressure on the price."
He added that the team did not halt long-term development during that period, but may have overlooked the importance of communication.
