Investors are watching whether leveraged exchange-traded funds tied to digital assets will make it to market.

The Block reported on August 15 that Cboe BZX Exchange, a unit of Cboe, filed a proposed rule change with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to list six ETFs designed to deliver three times the daily return of major assets including Bitcoin and Ether. The proposed lineup also includes gold, silver, crude oil and natural gas.

The Bitcoin and Ether ETFs would invest mainly in futures traded on CME Group and aim to generate returns equal to three times each day's price move. If Bitcoin rises 1% in a day, the funds would seek a gain of about 3%.
