SkyBridge Capital, the U.S. hedge fund, expects Bitcoin to climb back above $100,000.
Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, told CNBC on Aug. 18 that Bitcoin will rise above $100,000 again ahead of the 2028 halving.
He said a halving-driven drop in supply will lift Bitcoin's price.
A halving is an event that cuts Bitcoin mining rewards in half.
The next Bitcoin halving is projected for the first half of 2028. After that, the block reward will fall to 1.5625 Bitcoin from 3.125 Bitcoin.
