Bitcoin Tops $71,000, Extending Rally

Bitcoin climbed above $71,000.
CoinMarketCap data showed Bitcoin trading at $71,264.95 as of 5:35 p.m. in South Korea on Aug. 20, up 10.81% from a day earlier. The cryptocurrency has gained 11.84% over the past week.
Ether was trading in the $2,200 range on Aug. 20 after jumping more than 18% from the previous day. It is up about 20% from a week earlier.
