Franklin Templeton is preparing to introduce tokenized assets into traditional investment funds, Bloomberg reported on August 20.

The firm plans to use money-market fund, or MMF, tokens as assets and collateral for exchange-traded funds and mutual funds.

That would let existing investors add tokenized assets to their portfolios through ETFs or mutual funds without buying them separately.
