Galaxy Digital Launches Retail Crypto Credit Line Backed by Bitcoin, Ether, Solana

Galaxy Digital has launched a secured lending service for retail clients that lets them borrow cash without selling their crypto holdings.
The company introduced the Crypto Portfolio Line of Credit through its retail platform, GalaxyOne, The Block reported on August 26. The revolving credit product allows clients to post Bitcoin, Ether and Solana as collateral and borrow either U.S. dollars or the stablecoin USDC. Staked SOL also qualifies as collateral.
"We can now offer a secured lending product with competitive rates, security and flexibility by using Galaxy's institutional-grade infrastructure," GalaxyOne Managing Director Zack Prince said in a statement.
The product carries an annual interest rate of 8.99% with no origination fee, and funds are disbursed immediately. Galaxy Digital said it will not rehypothecate collateral backing the loans. The service is currently available in 40 U.S. states.
Earlier this year, Galaxy Digital launched GOFR, a managed lending program for institutional investors and high-net-worth clients. GalaxyOne debuted in October 2025 as a platform offering integrated crypto and stock trading across the U.S.
