Upbit 24-Hour Trading Volume Nears $1.4 Billion, Up 11% From a Day Earlier

Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, recorded nearly $1.4 billion in trading volume over the past 24 hours.
Dunamu said on Aug. 27 that Upbit’s trading volume for the latest 24-hour period totaled about 1.97 trillion won ($1.41 billion), up 11.37% from a day earlier.
XRP was the most-traded asset during the period at about 334.5 billion won ($240 million). It was followed by Tether at about 187.9 billion won ($135 million), Ontology Gas at about 173.3 billion won ($124 million), and Ether at about 152.7 billion won ($110 million).
Upbit’s crypto fear-and-greed index stood at 66 on Aug. 27, indicating a “greed” reading. That was down 3 points from 69 a day earlier and up 21 points from 45 a month earlier.
