Data published by Cointelegraph on August 29 showed the supply of Ethereum rose by 20,125.33 ETH over the past seven days.
Over the same period, 20,515.08 ETH was newly issued, while only 389.76 ETH was burned. Total supply rose as new issuance far outpaced the amount removed from circulation.
Ethereum's total supply is currently estimated at about 121.99 million ETH.
As of 5:40 p.m., Ethereum was trading at $2,433, down 2.48% from a day earlier.
