Circle, the stablecoin issuer, has launched native USDC and EURC on Layer 1 blockchain Plasma (XPL).
Odaily reported on August 29 that Circle also added support on Plasma for its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol, or CCTP, and Bridge Kit.
CCTP is designed to enable token transfers across different blockchains.
Circle said institutions can use Plasma for on- and off-ramp services between fiat currencies and digital assets. Developers can also integrate USDC and EURC directly into their applications.
