Trump Calls Iran a ‘Failed State,’ Says Leadership Is in Total Disarray

Source

President Donald Trump leveled sharp criticism at Iran, saying it had "officially become a failed state."

In a Truth Social post on August 31, Trump claimed Iran was "dead" and had no navy, no air force and no currency, and was unable to pay its soldiers and police.

He also claimed Iran's inflation rate had reached 300% and that the country's leadership was in complete disarray and incapable of properly representing the nation. The figure was Trump's claim.

Trump also cited the Iranian government's harsh crackdown on protesters. He claimed that more than 100,000 people had died and said Iran's leaders should be tried for crimes against humanity and war crimes.
