Trump Says He Is Ready to Strike Iran Again, Expects Current Operation to Be Brief

President Donald Trump said the U.S. is prepared to launch additional strikes on Iran, while indicating the current military operation will not last long.

Walter Bloomberg reported on September 2 that Trump, addressing the possibility of another attack on Iran, said he was “ready to launch another attack.” He also said the renewed operation against Iran “will not last very long.”

Trump claimed Iran had been trying to rebuild its radar and missile systems.

He also said Iran had been attempting to develop rockets capable of laying mines, adding, “We took it out.” He did not specify when the strike occurred or the extent of the damage.
