Hassett Says Trump Will Respect Any Rate Decision by Fed Chair Kevin Warsh on Sept. 16

Kevin Hassett, director of the White House National Economic Council, said he would respect the Federal Reserve's interest-rate decision.

Odaily reported on Sept. 15 that Hassett said, "President Trump and I will respect whatever decision Fed Chair Kevin Warsh makes tomorrow."

The Fed is due to set its benchmark interest rate at its September Federal Open Market Committee meeting on Sept. 16.
