Forecast Trend Report by Period

A broadening rally in the altcoin market has pushed 70% of altcoins listed on Binance back above their 200-day moving average, according to an analysis.
On Sept. 19, cryptocurrency analyst Darkfost wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that TOTAL3 — a market capitalization gauge for altcoins excluding Bitcoin and Ether — had climbed above $800 billion. That is the highest level in about eight months and above the previous peak reached in May.
Bitcoin, by contrast, has recently traded in a range of $75,600 to $82,000. As money rotated into altcoins, their share of trading on Binance rose to 53%, Darkfost said.
About 70% of altcoins listed on Binance are now trading above the 200-day moving average, a gauge widely used to assess market trends. Darkfost said altcoins' relative strength had climbed to a level similar to the market peak in October 2025.
"A very positive trend is taking shape in the altcoin market, and for now it is outperforming Bitcoin," Darkfost wrote. He added that caution is still warranted because market conditions can change quickly.
