Perpetual futures tied to real-world assets, or RWAs, are absorbing investor demand that emerges outside regular US stock-market trading hours, Binance Research said.
On Sept. 22, crypto-focused media outlet Wu Blockchain reported that Binance Research found RWA-based perpetual futures are capturing demand tied to macroeconomic events and single-stock trading outside market hours.
The firm said investors can quickly build positions through stock- or index-linked perpetual futures even before US equities open, particularly during major macro events such as Federal Open Market Committee announcements.
Binance Research added that RWA perpetual futures traded in the crypto market are already reflecting a substantial share of price moves in traditional financial assets before the regular US session begins.
