Donald Trump bought up to $100,000 more of Strategy stock in July, adding to his holdings in the Bitcoin-holding company.

Property transaction disclosures filed with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics and cited by Cointelegraph on September 23 show that Trump bought $50,001 to $100,000 of Strategy shares on July 27. He had previously bought another $1,001 to $15,000 of the stock on July 24. Strategy is the world's largest publicly traded corporate holder of Bitcoin, with about 846,000 BTC.

Trump also bought Coinbase stock in July, while selling shares of Bitcoin miners MARA Holdings and CleanSpark. Among the disclosed crypto-related trades, the July 27 Strategy purchase was the largest.

The purchase was the same size as a previously disclosed Strategy stock buy reported on February 12. Trump has bought and sold the company's shares several times this year. Because the disclosure forms report transactions in value ranges, it is difficult to determine how many shares he currently holds.

The White House told CNBC on September 23 that Trump's stock and bond portfolio is being managed independently by a third-party financial institution and that neither the president nor his family is involved in investment decisions.

Since the disclosure of Trump's purchases, Strategy shares have risen about 30% over the past five trading days and about 37% over the past month.

Separately, the Trump administration is pushing ahead with efforts to refine crypto regulation using existing authority, even as congressional action on the CLARITY Act, a digital-asset market structure bill, has been delayed. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on September 17 temporarily allowed limited on-chain trading of tokenized U.S. stocks. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission also eased registration requirements for some derivatives-related software providers and began work on broader rules for the crypto market.
