Bitget Warns of Phishing Accounts, Suspicious Links Impersonating Official Channels

Bitget warned users to watch for phishing accounts impersonating its official channels and suspicious links.

In a post on its official X account on Sept. 25, Bitget urged users to verify the authenticity of any account, message or link related to the exchange before interacting with it. It also cautioned users against accounts and suspicious links posing as official channels.

The exchange said users can directly check whether an account or website is legitimate through its official verification page. After selecting the platform they want to verify — including X, Telegram and websites — users can enter an account name or website URL to confirm whether it is an official Bitget channel.

Bitget emphasized that users should verify all accounts, messages and links related to the exchange before using them.

Earlier on Sept. 25, Bitget suffered a hack amounting to $351.6 million. Deposit and withdrawal services are currently suspended.
