Financial News reported on September 29 that Shinhan participated in the Korea-Japan Financial Cooperation Conference held a day earlier at the Korea Financial Investment Association in Seoul's Yeouido, where it explored cooperation in transition finance, carbon markets and digital finance.
The event brought together representatives from major institutions, including domestic and overseas universities, research institutes, financial authorities and the Asian Development Bank, to discuss climate transition finance policy, digital finance innovation and the development direction of the digital asset market.
During a panel discussion, Shinhan introduced the group's transition finance strategy and shared cooperation plans and innovation ideas for the South Korean and Japanese financial markets, including digital assets.
