Forecast Trend Report by Period

A large share of trading in tokenized stocks — blockchain-based tokens tied to equities — is taking place outside regular US market hours, underscoring 24-hour access as a core advantage for the market.
Blockworks data cited by Cointelegraph on Oct. 13 showed that more than 70% of tokenized stock trading volume on BNB Chain occurred outside regular US stock market hours, which run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern time. On Solana, 63% of total volume was recorded outside those hours, while the figure on Base was about 60%.
The data suggests investors are using blockchain-based products to trade stocks when traditional markets are closed rather than limiting activity to standard exchange hours. Trading volume in tokenized assets on Jupiter, a major Solana-based platform, also rose 50% from a month earlier, adding to signs of growth in the market.
The overall tokenized stock market is also expanding. According to real-world asset data platform RWA.xyz, the total value of tokenized stocks rose 15% over the past 30 days to nearly $3.3 billion. Major issuers include Ondo Global Markets, xStocks and bStocks, with their tokens circulating across multiple blockchains.
US regulators are also moving to bring tokenized stock trading into the regulated financial system. The Securities and Exchange Commission introduced an "Innovation Exemption" last month that allows trading platforms meeting certain requirements to offer tokenized products tied to US-listed stocks on public blockchains.
SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda said trading platforms operating under the exemption must disclose prices, trade sizes, execution times and daily trading volume in US dollar terms. Liquidity pool addresses and balances must also be disclosed. Tokenized stock products from xStocks and Ondo Global Markets have generally been restricted for US investors, but under the new framework, platforms that meet shareholder-rights protections and trading and disclosure requirements will be able to offer tokenized stocks in the US.
