Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, said Bitcoin is reentering a bull market and that broader services from financial institutions will help sustain the rally in the next one to two years.

Wu Blockchain reported on October 19 that Saylor said in a recent interview the Bitcoin market had regained bullish momentum.

He said banks' expansion of Bitcoin custody and collateralized lending services over the next 12 to 24 months would be a key growth driver. Faster adoption of Bitcoin-related services by traditional financial institutions could also improve market access for institutional investors.

Saylor also identified securities tokenization as a key factor in Bitcoin's growth. Broader blockchain use by financial institutions could strengthen links between digital assets and traditional financial markets.

He also discussed Strategy's financial strategy, saying the company repurchased about $1.5 billion of STRC to help stabilize its price. The company also holds enough cash and cash equivalents to pay dividends for about three years and six months, he said.

Saylor also raised the possibility of a stablecoin backed by Bitcoin collateral, pegged to the dollar and offering an annual yield of 6% to 8%. He did not disclose any specific plan for Strategy to issue such a product directly.
